The Mayor's Chamber in the Guildhall was the elegant setting for another SRL Fundraising Event, this time a Race Night, which gave people the opportunity to have a bet on some unlikely sounding horses but at the same time help raise funds for the Town Green.

As usual, the standard of food was excellent for the loyal supporters of this Campaign who turn their hands to produce delicious dishes which cause the tables to groan under the weight of their efforts.

The evening was compered by Karen Hughes who was an admirable race-master and Tote Manager ensuring the proceeds were divided between the winners and the SRL Tote Pool.
