The Application went to the Secretary of State for approval and has been returned to Oxfordshire County Council for determination.  In other words, OCC made the mess, they have to get themselves out of it!

Please write to Oxfordshire County Council, Director of Planning, Mr. Richard Dudding, and ask them to revisit the application.

Write to BBOWT.   We call them BBWONT

They are a Non-Statutory Consultee, and as such their lack of a robust objection to NPower's plans is extremely concerning.    They told us that they do receive money from NPower to help them run the nature study centre at Sutton Courtenay - something in the order of £28,000 per annum to pay for staff costs.  No wonder BBOWT turned into BBWONT

Use their webmail page to tell them what you think of their position.

There is definitely a conflict of interest because of the way they receive funding from NPower.   This must account for why their objection last time was so lukewarm.  Definitely in conflict with their mission statement, but £28,000 is worth destroying a beautiful landscape isn't it????
