On the 2nd June 2007, the elegant surroundings of the Mayor's Room was opened to the public for them to come and support Save Radley Lakes.

Raising money for the forthcoming legal battle with RWE NPower over the Town Green, there were delicious cakes and coffee for weary shoppers and a wealth of donated items which formed a Tombola and Prize Raffle.  In addition, the bric-a-brac and book stall had numerous visitors looking for a bargain.

The result was a further large sum of money added to the Town Green Fighting Fund Chest.

The Town Green Inquiry resumes on the 20th June at 11.00.am. in Radley College New Pavillion.
