Executive Members spent many hours researching the issues which
the reports issued covered. Unfortunately, they were not read,
or if they were, not understood, by the people who were supposed
to take informed decisions on behalf of the public.
Many of the members of SRL Executive are scientists, used to dealing
with technical papers and are used to dealing with evidence and
the testing thereof before making statements. These reports
cover many unpaid hours of work and are thorough and detailed.
